Few things are more horrific than fairies–the usually cute creatures of Disney classics–turning violent, malevolent, and brutally bloody! The blend of the harmless and enchanting with the harmful and terrifying is nightmare fuel for adults as much as children.

In The Legend of Tinker Hell–the latest fairy-tale horror directed by Steve Hermann and Lynn Lowry–even though details are little at this point, the horror looks big! Its synopsis alone is already launching rockets at Space Jockey Reviews! What do we know, so far? “When you think you’re safe from her witty and murderous ways, Ellie magically appears with a catchy jingle.” What’s more, “There’s no escape from her no-holds-barred mischief, before brutally killing you in the most unusual ways!”

What unusual ways? “This unhinged fairy creates over-the-top mayhem in the most bloody ways…unpredictable and overly ambitious!” Indeed, she is, as “a new face of horror, not your typical killer,” with “no knife, no axe, no chainsaw.” She’s “just a psychotic fairy” in a horror tale mixing a little comedy with “a whole lot of blood and guts.” Yes! Let’s say “bloody” one more time, because it sure looks that way…and what a good way that is! Here, instead of “When You Wish Upon a Star” with Tinkerbell, it’s “When You Wish Upon a Scream” with Tinkerhell! Frightfully awesome!
