Our Most Carefree Space Jockey, Ngọc Ánh, Barefoot in Space

Born in Cần Thơ, Vietnam, September 9, 2005, Ngọc Ánh is the newest addition to our Space Jockey crew at SJR. Joining us in the Lunar New Year of 2026, at the age of 22, she’s our official Moon correspondent and NEO (Near Earth Object) Explorer.

And what about her name? Fittingly, Ngọc Ánh is a name that signifies beauty, intelligence, and preciousness in Vietnamese. It combines Ngọc (jade or precious stone) and Ánh (light or reflection), symbolizing a “shining, precious gem.” And a shining precious gem she is, indeed, at Space Jockey Reviews!

Ngoc is also a yoga enthusiast known throughout the galaxy, famous even among her fellow Space Jockeys. Featured below is a photo of Ngoc showing off her advanced contortion skills in a variation of Dwi Pada Sirsasana Pose (Two Legs Behind the Head Pose), with not one but both of her beautiful feet behind her head!

Carefree, adventurous, and physically-precocious since childhood, Ngọc‘s never found a crater too big, too rocky, or too deep to traverse–also never a yoga pose too difficult to achieve.
