Space Jockey Reviews is pleased to present the much-awaited, official trailer for the independent, dark fantasy film, Rose White. “Based on the Grimm Brothers’ fairy tale Snow-White and Rose-Red, Rose White pits dark reality against an even darker fantasy, in a world where there are no happy endings.” Rose White comes from filmmakers Brian Kilborn and Daniel Kuhlman and stars Deneen Melody (as Lilly) and Erin Breen (as Rosalyn); it’s produced by Breakwall Pictures in association with TinyCore Pictures and features original music by composer Matt Novak.

“Through Lilly’s eyes, the world is a dark but beautiful place, where she and her sister, Rosalyn, live happily in the heart of a deep forest. In reality, however…” To not spoil anything, lets just say that, “in reality,” things are much different.
From the trailer, Rose White appears to be a real-world adaptation of the classic fairy tale, with the type of dark themes that original fairy tales actually had; it looks fresh, gritty, and above all…very interesting! You’ll have to watch the movie to see what it’s all about; but, I’m sure you’ll enjoy that anyway. 🙂
