Space Jockey Reviews Star Showcase: DENEEN MELODY

Deneen Melody, as most of you know, is the beautiful and talented star of Crestfallen, featured here on Space Jockey Reviews.  Of course, Deneen must be added to the Star Showcase, because of her performance in this short film alone.  In Crestfallen, Deneen plays Lo, the woman whose futile, last-minute efforts to abort her own suicide follows a montage of scenes that led her to the regretted decision. Without words, Deneen does a better job of conveying emotions than many actors could with limitless dialogue; her eyes alone express more than the best of words could say.  (To see Crestfallen, along with my complete review, click here.)

In the demo reel below, Deneen (the lover of unicorns and Lord of the Rings) showcases her acting talent in a variety of films including Western X (where she portrays the Goddess Hecate Freya), III Slices of LifeConvo, Lewis, Autumn, As Night Falls, the upcoming Rose White, and yes, Crestfallen.  In this reel, it’s easy to see why Deneen is a star here on Space Jockey Reviews and beyond!

“I was frank with her about the content of the film, and she was brave in her willingness to go there. Deneen reminds me a little of Kate Winslet. She has a natural grace about her; she projects sensitivity and of wheels turning inside.” ~ Jeremiah Kipp (Director of the dramatic short, Crestfallen)

Of course, no feature with Deneen Melody could be complete on Space Jockey Reviews without a few photos of her as a scream queen…better yet…soaked in blood!  Notice (as it’s easy to see) how Deneen always looks beautiful, no matter what!  Even beneath the blood, her beauty cannot be hidden!

…and here’s a few choice photos of Deneen in various movies–again looking beautiful every time! Weather wielding a knife or sword, highlighted for glamour, or playfully showing her favorite things, Deneen is a beauty who captures attention!  🙂

Speaking of beauty, Deneen (as you’ve surely noticed) has more different, equally-beautiful looks than any other actress in the cinematic cosmos.  (If I didn’t know better, there are times when I’d think she has several near look-a-like sisters or at least one twin.)  But yes, there’s just one Deneen with the breathtaking look of many.  Her range of appearances, along with the uniqueness of her beauty and character are matched only by her talent as an actress, dancer, and artist.  (Yes, you read that right–actor, dancer, and artist!)  In the Space Jockey Showcase, Deneen is a star wherever she appears!

A Deneen Melody feature at this point could not be complete without the teaser trailer for her upcoming film Rose White.  It’s based on Snow-White and Rose-Red by the Brothers Grimm.  Rose White is said to pit “a dark reality against an even darker fantasy…in a world where there are no happy endings.”   It stars Erin Breen, Daniel Kuhlman, Tom Lodewyck, Anthony Fleming, David Goodloe, Thurston Hill, Sheri Savage, Marla Seidell, Stephanie Andrews, Valerie Meachum, Sean Bolger, Jay DeLaRosa, Ann Marie Boska, Brooke Lodewyck, and, of course, Deneen Melody.  Here, once again, we see why Deneen is truly a star!  Enjoy the Rose White teaser below, and, by all means, see the movie!

I almost forgot to mention that, along with being a great actress, Deneen is also quite a lover of animals.  Check out the beautiful proof of that below!  I wonder what she’s whispering to that horse; he looks quite happy listening. 🙂
