The countdown is over! The fourth single from Sir John Paul’s debut has just launched at Space Jockey Reviews, and all systems are go! Yes! Yet another superstellar achievement on Earth has made exceptions to the rules at SJR! It’s not a song about horror, science fiction, or fantasy that breaks the rules, but one about the purest, most feel-good emotion in the all of the universe and beyond – love! It’s a song about love shared, celebrated, and expressed to that special someone in your life. Yes! It’s been done times too numerous to count, by countless others. But love songs, in their limitless amounts, are like stars in the skyl Every now and then, one shines brighter than the rest. Sir John Paul’s latest, “You Are So Beautiful,” is one such far brighter star.
About his song, Sir John Paul says, “It’s just a romantic song about a man telling a woman how beautiful he thinks she is.” But, answering an SOS from men in search of the right words and the right song, he says “I wanted something that any man could sing to his woman on the dance floor and sound cool.” And, just as sure as there’s a Milky Way in our galaxy, “You Are So Beautiful to Me” is exactly that! It could just be Everyman’s love song for the ages. (Yes, I’m talking about the common-man character of the classic play, hence the capitalization.)
“The words to the song are simple and true. Let me sing it just for you.” ~ Lyrics from You Are So Beautiful to Me
As for all the not-so-talented guys and reluctant romantics among us – the Everyman in us all – Sir John Paul sets an example to which we can all aspire. He sings with sincerity that is visible and audible, committed to his message, pulling us in, making us sing along. (Yes, I admit it. I was singing along too!) As we sing along, we think of who we love, how much we love them and, soon enough, we’re saying, “Why not just go ahead and do this!” Yes! I’m still practicing now, myself! And, yes, I’m going to sing it to my wife…soon enough!
“You Are So Beautiful,” was directed by Sir John Paul himself (John Paul Ouvrier) and Ralph Amaranto, produced by John Paul Ouvrier, and written by Ralph Amaranto and John Paul Ouvrier. Yes! The creative duo of Sir John and Ralph have made and assembled everything on this romantic rocket, from the nose cone to the boosters, and what a beauty she is!
“It’s just a romantic song about a man telling a woman how beautiful he thinks she is, and I wanted something that any man could sing to his woman on the dance floor and sound cool.” ~ Sir John Paul
From the video’s Youtube page: “A reprieve from the world of electronic music and words that sort of rhyme, to a place of meaning, connectedness, and recharging. Sir John Paul (John Paul Ouvrier), veteran performer and family man, proudly returns to the stage with this incarnation of music and song that refreshes the soul with melodies and lyrics that the mature spirit will understand. When empathy meets responsibility and judgments become lessons, life becomes precious and this music is precious and will warm your heart, recharge your gratitude and take you home. This music is yours.” Recharging, refreshing, and empathic? Absolutely!
“Equality for all who are in love. Be safe, be legal, be consensual, be of age, but love who you love. And share this message, and use this song to inspire and celebrate!” ~ Sir John Paul
And now, for the video and the song, “You Are So Beautiful.” Sing along, learn the words…and sing it to someone you love! If you have a guitar, play it too! If not, who cares! Do what you can, and be confident! As Sir John Paul says, “Love who you love…and use this song to inspire and celebrate!” Yes, indeed! Inspire, celebrate, and maybe even sound “cool” too! There’s just no way to go wrong with this one!
