Sofia Perlgård may be the most beautiful woman we’ve ever seen at Space Jockey Reviews…or anywhere in the universe. Yes! It may seem hyperbolic, exaggerated, or clichéd to make such compliments about anyone…maybe even extraterrestrials. But, not this time. Sofia is the real deal, right here on planet Earth, in Stockholm, Sweden; and our claim is sincere–truly “out-of-this-world” awesome she is! As a paragon of Nordic pulchritude, rivalled by none, she gets our vote; as the pride of Viking heritage and Scandinavian sensations, putting the universe in awe, ten rockets at SJR are automatic.
“When I get bored…I like to dress myself up as Harley Quinn.” ~ Sofia Perlgård
But is there more than beauty and modeling on Sofia’s resume? ABSOLUTELY! She’s an actress too, with a brand new showreel (created/edited by Pauli Janhunen Calderon), giving us all a look at her talents and filmography like never before. And it’s all featured right here on Space Jockey Reviews for all to see. (Check it out below…and go to Youtube to subscribe!)
Most interesting for horror fans in Sofia’s showreel is the clip from Smile–the short horror film starring Sofia, directed and written by Erik Hansson, edited by Twizz Forsberg (Sargad). In the movie clip, Sofia is bound and gagged on the floor, while a madman raises a hammer in the air, swinging it down to hit her beautiful face! There the segment ends, and we are left to wonder…and want to see Smile. (Perhaps Sofia will let us know where we can find it.) The suspense is killing us too; hopefully she managed to knee the madman in the groin and doubletap him, before he was able to strike the blow. Until we see it, we’ll keep our fingers crossed.
“I’m trying to not be an overthinker, to be a good mom, to please the ones I love, to be what and who I want to be. I’m trying to stay strong, and keep on fighting for my dreams. But all I can do is to try, and do my best. I’m not perfect.” ~ Sofia Perlgård
Also included on Sofia’s showreel are clips of her as a Swedish police officer in The Postcard Killings, as a nurse in Stigmata, as well as teasers from her role in the Netflix series Quicksand, her part in a music video, and much more–even highlights of her at work and behind the scenes, modeling!
And, if everything else amazing about Sofia isn’t enough, she’s Harley Quinn too–that ever-gorgeous, mallet-swinging vixen of pulp mayhem and revenge! As Sofia says, “When I get bored…I like to dress myself up as Harley Quinn.” And what a fine Harley she makes (as you’ll see in the photos below), complete with her “Welcome to Paradise” T-shirt on backwards and inside out…of course! How else would Harley wear it? Rarely do we wish for “boredom” at Space Jockey Reviews; but, with Sofia’s coping strategies, bring it on!
Along with being photographed by countless professional photographers, Sofia is also quite a photographer of herself. And with such a photogenic subject as she is, she couldn’t go wrong with her portfolio of selfies. Below is our editor’s choice of Sofia Perlgård photos, all taken by herself and others. Narrowing the hundreds in her portfolio down to just a few wasn’t easy, but we had to do it somehow. For all of Sofia’s beautiful photos, her growing filmography and more, check her out on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube too. (Links are below.) Enjoying Sofia’s images of iconic beauty may be the easiest thing you ever do!
