Space Jockey Reviews Mission Control, get ready! Starship: Rising is a new movie in the works from Morphius Films that has the Space Jockey Rockets ready to launch already. It’s from director Neil Johnson (also the director of Alien Armageddon, Alien Dawn, and Humanity’s End).What’s better? A lot more! Among many others, the SJR favorite Brooke Lewis is part of the crew! As Staris, Brooke is the pilot of the greatest space vessel in the Federation–Starship One! That alone is worth a 10-rocket launch already! 😀

  1. Sounds like the plot from Blake’s 7, and look’s like a similar budget. With costumes like that it would want to be a comedy. Emii looks good.

  3. The premise of these films are good, however the casting and execution is flawed. All Neil Johnson’s films have an assembly of feminist botoxed lead actresses, token blacks who get killed first and Zionist philosophies scattered throughout. No regular looking people, fat, old, ugly, babies or different languages or nationalities. Why hasn’t it occurred to Neil Johnson that British actresses Judy Dench, Helen Mirram etc. get the roles despite being of advanced ages due to them not having butchered their facial expressions with botox or surgeries. I was reminded of the disappointing remake of “V” in which they replaced the regular people with attractive wooden hams, so there was no distinguishing features like the 1980’s version of the Aliens being attractive and the people being regular young, old, fat, thin, showing signs of living under occupation covered in dirt and grime with messed up hair.
